Yes, my eldest is also in her final year at Uni, and I managed to get her blanket finished before she went. I've been a bit slower with second child 's. He's been there two months already! Often I am feeling so stressed by mid December, this year I am determined to keep things simple, spend less and get organised early so that I can appreciate the good things about the Christmas season without the worry.
Each year I decide to start on the homemade gifts in about August but never manage it!Jill Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04144802914247847545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998136070355209215.post-23339117197357686842014-11-22T22:42:17.143-08:002014-11-22T22:42:17.143-08:00Hello! I found your blog via one of your comments ...Hello! I found your blog via one of your comments on 'Mias Landiv' and have really enjoyed flicking back through your posts. I few of them rang bells - the vase of knitting needles (although, I'm sadly lacking any gorgeous 'toadstool' ones!) and making a blanket for a uni child. My eldest is in her final year now and I made her a blanket to take with her when she first went up - I think it's a mothering thing isn't it? Trying to keep them warm and safe, even when they are away from home. Good luck with your Christmas preparations. xVeggieMummyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17467026136649574350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2998136070355209215.post-61072001339929697872014-11-22T18:28:32.263-08:002014-11-22T18:28:32.263-08:00Hi Cathy! A few years ago my family decided to spend Christmas away from extended family up the coast, and just eat lots of delicious food and get presents organised before the end of December. It has made our Christmas so much more relaxing!
Take care,
Michelle
crochetbetweentwoworlds.blogspot.com.au Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12910287804024257064noreply@blogger.com
